I woke up on Thurdsay and headed east. I had a campground reserved for the night in Oka National Park outside Montreal. The drive was easy and ended in another ferry ride. The park was on the water and had lots of marshes so the mosquitos were in abundance as were the raccoons. I decided the best thing to do was jump on the bike and get in a nice ride before it got dark. The further east I go the harder it is to find english speakers but that's ok. I'll just talk to myself pretending that it's y'all I'm talking to so I won't feel like I'm losing it. Too late.
The countryside was lovely but there were dozens of smoke shops and tobacco shacks in this tiny little town. It reminded me of a Canadian version of Tennessee.
I found this one amusing in spite of it's product placement.
I arrived back at camp just before dark. This is one of the many marshes. Tomorrow I head in to Montreal and beyond.
