Marko takes me for a ride! Big day in Connecticut

Friday's rain allowed me to catch up on blogging and planning and catching up with friends. I drove down to New Haven and arrived at Marko's house in time for a great dinner that he spent the day working on while watching his beloved Croatia lose in soccer to Scotland, bummer. Dinner was great and Marko couldn't have been a more gracious host. The forecast called for rain continuing into Saturday but we planned for a long ride as if the weather was going to be beautiful. I find it to be good strategy to charge into things as if the coast is clear and know you can hit the brakes or swerve if need be. We awoke to the rain drifting away and the day turned out to be beautiful. Marko's friend Brendan joined us for what turned out to be a fantastic experience. Marko stitched together some of the best roads around into one great ride that included two ferry rides. The bummer of the day was losing my Iphone5 from my bike pouch so most of the pictures are lost. I do have a few from Marko and some video from the Gopro.

After the ride, Marko had a quick meal ready to go while he prepared and even better tuna salad that knocked my socks off. Sorry for the lack of pictures but I'll try to post some more videos to give a sense of an amazing ride. Thanks Marko
