We had another great vegetarian dinner and some conversation and ended it off with a nice Greek yogurt dessert. Y'all be safe and pedal hard.

Hanging with Maura on the silver comet trail
Another lazy morning and a nice breakfast and then Maura and I went for a 7 mile hike on the silver comet trail. Tika provided the entertainment and God provided the beauty. The day turned out to be beautiful and the rain stayed away. The silver comet trail is a 62 mile multiuse path. It is part of the rails to trails system where they took an old railroad line and removed the tracks and put up a 10 foot wide paved path. It runs from Atlanta Georgia to the Alabama border where it turns into the chief Ladiga Trail and goes on almost to Birmingham. Together they form a 94 and a half-mile paved path which is the longest in North America. It just so happens to start 4 miles from Maura's house. I think Tuesday I will get on my bike and ride back to Alabama on this path. Out and back will turn it into a 200 kilometer ride.
