Birmingham to Marietta GA bwo motomuseo

Rainy sleep in kind of morning. It was a pleasant morning with my delightful hosts and then time to say goodbye.

The rain cleared from the west and the day turned beautiful. It was recommended that I should go to the motorcycle museum and I'm really glad I did. Awesome exhibits of motorcycles from the first motorcycle to the most recent. After taking it all in I headed on down I-20 towards Marietta. Passing through Talledega I saw 200,000 of my closest friends. It looks like they may have gotten some racing in after the rain cleared. I killed just enough time at the motorcycle museum so that the rain lightened up before I got into Atlanta and most of the way I had no rain at all.

It was wonderful to see my niece Maura and after unloading the car I ran to whole foods and filled up the fridge with yummy veggies and such. Tomorrow is forecast for rain but I will be keeping my eyes open for a clear patch of weather to go get in a ride.
