In the morning I got up and got ready to go for 100 mile ride on Duffy Lake Road but when I stopped by Chuck's campsite to see if he wanted to join me we started talking and the next thing I know, we've been discussing spirituality for 4 1/2 hours. It was just the right conversation for where I found myself but it did cut into my ride time. Still I got in a nice 30 mile ride with 3,000 feet of climbing. I see why this is Marty's favorite ride and now I understand why when it comes to riding in hills, Marty is an absolute powerhouse.
I had to stop and pick handfuls of these ripe raspberries.

I sailed right on through Whistler and on toward Squamish and Vancouver.
When I hit the coast it was a great feeling. I have traveled a long way on this journey and I still have 3 months remaining.
